I am an instructional designer for Jacksonville University. In this role, I work with subject matter experts (professors) as they design learning for their courses at the university.
I have also had the honor of designing for numerous grant opportunities and have created instructional materials for Microsoft and Canva.
At my core, I am a teacher. I have experience being the primary teacher for K-5 students with autism or related disabilities in addition to experience teaching undergraduate computer science and educational coursework at Jacksonville University in Jacksonville, Florida.
I have dedicated years of my life teaching educators and adult learners concepts involving technology, pedagogy, innovation, and implementation, from Jacksonville, Florida to Gallup, New Mexico via conference presentations and school-based coaching and learning development.
My true passion is creating instructional content. My unique visual eye and mastery of numerous creation platforms, including Canva, Articulate 360, Genial.ly, Microsoft 365, and so much more allow me to create visually engaging instructional content and support documentation. I also love sharing my knowledge with a growing community on YouTube @drjohnpauls
